Our vision is a simple and clear one: “To improve the health and wellbeing of our population through collaborative working”.
It is our ambition to place patients and the public at the heart of everything we do.
We firmly believe that strategic clinical networks (SCNs) have the potential to provide leadership and expertise to improve the health and wellbeing of people across our regions.
As a patient, carer or member of the public you can use your experience and knowledge to help us improve and shape services.
With the help of patients, carers and the public, we have already done a great deal: Produced an Information Directory for people affected by cancer; Advised on Cancer Centre discharge policy; Raised awareness of stroke, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Clinical senates will help Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWBs) and NHS England to make the best decisions about healthcare.
It is our ambition to place patients and the public at the heart of everything we do. All our activities will be informed by listening to those who use and care about health and wellbeing services.
